I am done writing in you. For over SIX YEARS, you have been a great way for me to laugh and cry, but now it feels like a ghost town and I'm just writing in the dirt and dust.

But I thank you for the greatest gift of all, in our time together. Somehow, you inadvertently helped me find my fiancee, my eventual-wife, the love of my life. Not bad for just a little website, eh?

My anniversary of five years with Jess is coming up this week, March 4th, to be exact. I think five years with her and six+ years with my Livejournal is enough of a legacy to leave behind in the Memoirs of the Lord of the Strings.

This was a lot of fun. More than I ever expected.

I can understand why some people (okay, most people) like to trash Fox News. I don't, personally, and I enjoy it even more now that Glenn Beck has joined the crew. But this video makes me wonder how ANYONE could not enjoy Fox News at 3 in the morning. I've never seen Red Eye, myself, because I usually try to be in bed right about now... but I will never look at Patti Ann Brown the same again.

I got my younger rabbit, Bebop, neutered today.

He is very resilient!

Poor little guy is doing great. Especially considering it was about 40 degrees, windy, and rainy in Myrtle Beach today. Not the best day for a little bunny wabbit to be outdoorsing.

I will update you on the condition of his phantom nuts as the need arises.

Eew, I just thought of something... are Bebop's testicles lying in a biohazard dumpster right now? (Edit: It is taking EVERYTHING in me to not make a "cum dumpster" joke right now. Well, so much for that.) Or were they, like, recycled and made into soup or something? Guh-vross.

First off, I would like to begin this post by saying "Mr. Chi City," whom you will undoubtedly remember from a recent video post in this blog, is quite possibly my hero.

Secondly, I just found out that Troy Dixon, a gentleman we only briefly got to know as T-Bag (TeaBag, Teabag?) on Pure Pwnage has amazingly and tragically passed away at the young age of 27. I don't get why all the good ones die at 27. Anyway, if you're confused about the latter and somewhat more dour part of this journal entry, go watch every episode of Pure Pwnage over at PurePwnage.com. If you're in a rush, skip to season two episode three.

Lastly, I do realize the subject of this entry might make me a little bit racist. But hey, it's racist in a really good way, right?

Can I just ask what the fuck is up with Guns N' Roses' "Chinese Democracy" being the whipping boy of the internet, these days?

I know -- for whatever reason -- internet journalism does its absolute best to be callous, cyncical, and hate everything I like... but seriously, the album wasn't that bad! I mean, I'm not sure if it shows the 14 years invested in it or if it was the second coming of Axl Christ, like everyone apparently made it out to be. But it's not a bad little album, in my opinion!

It's one thing for music columnists to bash it; at least they're writing within their realm. But when people on Yahoo say that Barack Obama shouldn't let us down in '09 like Chinese Democracy did in '08... it gets old.

I think from now on I'll just say that Barack Obama should surprisingly exceed my expectations like Guns N' Roses did. Fuck you, internet.

I find it funny that after watching countless hours of anime and having first become a fan of it nearly eight years ago, I can still delve into a new series and find that same old enjoyment I get out of watching the opening credits to a really good anime. I'm well on my way to 30 and I still get giddy from watching cartoons. I love it.

the smudges ain't gone.

I ordered a new pair of glasses before Christmas. Back when I got my driver's license changed over in November, I didn't do so great on the eye exam portion. I figured it was time for new spectacles. Upon my visit to see Jessica in Pencilvania last month, I saw my awesome eye doctor for a new prescription. After doing some price comparisons, I found a pretty good deal at my local JCPenney optical center. I got some nice semi-rimless silver frames, transition sunglasses lenses, anti-reflective, polycarbonate, all the good stuff. But with it being Christmas and New Year's, it took a while to get them in. Over two weeks.

I went to get them tonight and I didn't notice a smudge on the left lens. A smudge which, upon my arrival at home, I am UNABLE to clean off. Nothing will get it off. I think it's a defect in the lens. Fuck.

So now I'll have to get it shipped back out and have it take another week to fix, while I keep wearing scratched-to-hell lenses. Phooey.

Other than that, I'm good. Enjoying Porcupine Tree on my iPod docking station speakers. Boy, it sounds purdy. Almost as purdy as my fee-on-say. My fiancee. My hot girl.

I'm getting all gooey just thinkin' about her.

Time to go daydream and have many happy sighs.

It bugs the bejeezus out of me when I hear a riff or get a riff in my head and I can't think what the hell it is.

I was just watching That Metal Show on VH1 Classic; I heard a riff I swear is Evergrey or another band I listen to, and I CAN NOT find it.

So, I like Red Baron pizzas.

So much so that I eat them one at a time.

Each serving of the pizza has 320 calories. One pizza has five servings.

When I eat one pizza, I have 1600 calories in one sitting. That's horrible!

You know why? Because that leaves about 400 more to go before I reach my daily caloric intake.

The best way I can think to fill that sad little void is to eat another 1/4 of a Red Baron pizza.

I was going through a couple of entries in this here journal and adding things to favorites, which I've pretty much, you know, never done. And I was reading the older entry I memory'd when I realized I have not actually specified who this recently aforementioned fiance is. It should be fairly obvious for those who know me, but for the sake of LJ posterity, I guess I will say.

In my older memory'd journal entry, I say my new (at the time) girlfriend is Jess.

Well, now, almost five years later, I guess I should say that my fiance is one and the same. My fiance is my girlfriend is my Jess.

That is so absolutely awesome. Even my bunnies are happy. They're like, "Oh man! That means she can feed us veggies FOREVER!" And I'm like, "Yes, buns. Yes, it does."

And she can feed me happy love hugs of dooooom.
